The company was formed in February 1995 by the Director Steve Clark and his wife Joanne. Steve has many years experience in Retail and Sales and had realised an opportunity to serve local businesses in reducing waste and recycling. Steves level of commitment to a good idea benefits the customer by offering excellent saving, first class
service and at the same time to benefiting the environment.
Shops analysed were shown to throw away typically 50% card, 20% plastics, 10% paper and 20% other waste. By recycling items such as Card, Paper and Plastics you reduce your waste by 80% and your costs by about 20%. TELL ME MORE.
Some other materials Used2bee collect are wooden pallets, Glass, and Textiles. Any amount of textile can be collected and we accept Clothing, Shoes, Bedding and Accessories. Click on ‘Textile recycling’ for more info.
A further development to the recycling services was to open a small retail shop to sell Recycled, Organic, and Fairtrade products.
